Every Capsule Pouch is photographed and ran through the latest medication recognition software assisting our qualified checking technicians, who also check your non-pouched medication ensuring you only and always receive the correct medication at the right time.

What is the Capsule Pouch?
The Capsule Pouch is a personalised way to receive your medication, packed into individual, easy-to-tear pouches. Each pouch contains the exact medicines you need for a specific time of day, such as morning, afternoon, evening, or bedtime. The pouches are clearly labelled with your name, the date, and the time they should be taken, making it simple to follow your treatment plan and avoid missed doses.
Are pouches safe?
Yes, Capsule Pouches are completely safe. Each pouch is sealed, photographed, and checked using the latest medication recognition technology to ensure every tablet inside is correct. Our qualified checking technicians then review each pouch along with any non-pouched medication for extra accuracy. All medicines are dispensed from licensed UK pharmacies following strict NHS and GPhC safety standards, so you can trust that your medication is prepared and handled with the highest level of care.
Who can sign up?
Anyone who finds it difficult to keep up with their medication or needs help organising their tablets can sign up for the Pouch service. It’s ideal for people taking multiple medicines, those with busy routines, or anyone who wants extra confidence that they’re taking the right medication at the right time.
I have fridge items, is that ok?
Yes, that’s absolutely fine. Fridge or temperature-sensitive items are kept separate from your pouches and stored safely in line with cold chain requirements. These medicines will be supplied in their original packaging and clearly labelled, while your other medication is organised into pouches. Our team makes sure all your medicines, including fridge items, are dispensed and delivered safely.
What if one dose has too many tablets for one pouch?
If you have a large number of tablets due at the same time, your dose will be split across two pouches. Each pouch will be clearly labelled to show that it is part of the same dose, for example “Morning Dose 1 of 2” and “Morning Dose 2 of 2.” This ensures you still receive all your medication safely, accurately, and in an easy-to-manage way.
Do I still need to check my medicines?
Yes. Always look at the pouch print before taking. Contact a pharmacist or doctor if something looks wrong.
What if my medicines change?
Your GP will contact us and we will discuss the appropriate action to take.
What if I miss a time?
Follow your prescriber’s advice on missed doses. If unsure, ask a pharmacist or doctor. Do not double up without guidance.
What if I struggle to tear it?
Use the notch or small scissors. Remember to tear left to right!
How do repeat orders work?
We arrange the next supply so you receive it before you finish the current medication. We ensure there is no gaps in your treatment.
When would a Dosette Box be better?
The Capsule Pouch may not be for everyone, and that’s ok. You may prefer our Dosette Box service if you relate to any of the following:
- You like seeing a full week at once
- You already have a working habit with a box
- You have very frequent daily dose changes
- You have severe difficulty tearing small packages (even with scissors or an aid)
