FAQs

What is Original Pack Dispensing?

Original Pack Dispensing means your medicines are supplied in the manufacturer’s original sealed packaging, exactly as they were produced.

Yes. Original Pack Dispensing is approved by the NHS and the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Each pack is checked by our qualified pharmacy team to make sure it matches your prescription and is in perfect condition before being supplied to you.

This method keeps your medicine in tamper-proof packaging, includes the manufacturer’s patient leaflet, and ensures the longest possible shelf life. It also reduces the risk of errors during repackaging and helps maintain product integrity.

Absolutely. Even when your medicines come in their original packs, our pharmacists are always available to explain how and when to take them, discuss side effects, and answer any questions you may have.

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.

Sometimes manufacturers change packaging or tablet appearance, but the medicine inside remains the same. If you notice a difference and are unsure, our pharmacy team can confirm it’s correct before you take it.

If a leaflet is missing or damaged, contact us and we’ll provide a replacement or direct you to an online version approved by the manufacturer. We can also explain any instructions over the phone or in person.

Most medicines can be supplied in their original packaging. However, some may need to be repackaged for safety reasons, such as when a patient requires a smaller dose or different quantity to the original pack size.

If you struggle with packaging, let our team know. We can discuss alternative options such as the Capsule Pouch or Dosette Box service for added convenience.

Yes, absolutely. If you find that organising your medicines is becoming difficult, we can easily move you to a Dosette Box or Capsule Pouch service. Our team will guide you through the change to make sure your medication continues without interruption.
